I just had a notice come up reminding me it had been a year since book four of Seeking Shelter came out. Shoot, I'm 70 strips into the sequel and I haven't put out the final book of the last series! Happily my son starts børnehave next Monday, it's kind of like preschool, but very Danish and my daughter is still at that age where she sleeps all the time, so hopefully I should actually have time to work on prepping the files, doing the covers and the Kickstarter. Admittedly I still need my husband to run it through the program, so I'm guessing another few months before I actually launch the campaign, but I'm motived to get it done. When I started this comic I had no idea what a huge part of my life it would become, that it'd be the one hobby I maintained through the most time consuming years of being a parent and even how much a part of my identity being a cartoonist would become. Thank you so much for continuing to read my strips. I do it for me, but it makes me so happy to know that others are enjoying it.
