134: Feeling Cool

This is probably one of those strips that if I still had an editor, he'd tell me not to run it, because I realize I seem kind of like a jerk, and, no, in reality I've never held that over someone's head, but I just find it really funny that our decision to honor an ancient Jewish tradition that also carries some health benefits (easier to clean, offers some protection from sexually transmitted disease) resulted in getting to donate life saving stem cells to science. My son did a mitzvah just by being being born! Also neat, they had to test my blood before accepting the donation and called me up to tell me all the interesting things they found, like that I am the only person they've ever tested who has no Mono antibodies in my blood or that I've been vaccinated against a lot of stuff most people haven't.
