837: Generation Gap

I am thankful every day of the week that we decided to buy the small house with the small mortgage. Right now we're having the house repainted, a lovely pale green with dun colored trim and dark green shutters. And we're having Ikea cabinets installed in our kitchen in replacement of our inefficient crappy 70's cabinetry and a small section of the basement finished off, so that my husband can move his office down to a sound proof room and we'll have a third bedroom for guests and hopefully a second child. There's no way we could afford any of this if our house was in a new development and was larger than it's 1440 square feet, where we'd have paid twice as much for it. Our house is big enough and I'm glad we can make it nice.
