I've recently discovered the Piggie and Elephant books by Mo Willems. They're essentially comic books that are bound like Easy Readers (think Dr. Seus). My son loves me to read them to him, I suppose because of all the page turning (most pages only have one speech bubble on them) and all the expression. Honestly, I love reading them to him, because it's a chance for me to fulfill my amateur voice acting ambitions. My favorite right now is Should I Share My Ice Cream? where the elephant spends so long compulsing about if he should share his ice cream that it melts and his buddy comes along and shares hers, just like he had planned to do.
