I took my son to a toddler gymnastics class. Way too easy. It wasn’t even emotionally challenging. At one point they had the kids play across the room from their parents, like it would be hard to be separated by a whole 20 feet! The thing that baffled me the most was at the end they made the toddlers clean up. I still don’t understand why they needed toy time for gymnastics anyway, but regardless I don’t see the value in teaching them to clean up. At this age it’s just another game. Even when my son cleans properly, he’s so slow it’s hardly a time improvement to tidying the house. He’s too young to understand the concept that cleaning house makes other people happy, so it just felt like a way to trick the kids into cleaning up the school’s unnecessary mess.
