744: Sailing

Today I worked a snow blower for the first time. It was pretty exciting. Yes, I know, a Mainer who doesn't know how to work a snow blower, but I was a pretty pampered kid. I didn't even really shovel snow. My parents hired someone for that. Well, and for a long while we had a deaf neighbor who just loved snow blowing, so it was a moot point for the most part. Now as an adult, I really enjoy snow control. I enjoy the exertion of shoveling. The snow blower is a bit intimidating, I must admit. The thing weighs as much as me and is probably more deadly. I'm still figuring out all the knobs, switches and knacks to it, but I have a whole season to practice. I like getting to gain a useful new skill and it reminds me fondly of my little motor boat....
