555: Happy Outlook

My son is now a bit over 5 months old. Aside from him cutting his first teeth, this is a really great age. He's mobile, rolling, army crawling and squirming all over the place. He has intent and actually plays with the giant pile of toys he's been given one the last half year. He has a predictable nap schedule. He no longer screams every time he's in his car seat. He eats mush at the table with us. He has enough hand eye control to correctly insert toys in his mouth and genuine activities, like his jumper and walker, that he enjoys. I've thought the whole ride was great, but watching him gain his first shreds of independence is a real pleasure. And now I need to go madly baby proof my house…
