This is my favorite bread and soup cook book. For the longest time I didn't know what it was called. I just knew it as this great cookbook that I'd had as a teenager that my mom threw out when she was de-cluttering. Then one day I saw it at a new acquintance's house and I spied it on her shelf. I borrowed it and then almost immediately bought my own copy, as it was just as good as I remembered it. There is a fluffy buttermilk bread recipe in there that I adore, as well as this garlic laden dish called Hangover Soup that is scrumptious. I'm not a big soup fan, but this cookbook is close to making me a convert!
