429: Shared Humility

We got to chase a proverbial fox out of a hen house the other morning. We were on our morning constitutional when we saw the neighbor's chickens sprinting all over the place. We started making cracks about our orange cat moving on to larger prey, when we noticed a very large orange shape chasing them down. It was a gorgeous red fox. My husband ran at it clapping, I ran up to the neighbor's house and rang the bell and then we all started collecting scared chickens. The fox thankfully had only eaten one and pulled the tail feathers off a second. It sure made for an exciting start to the day.
