372: Instant Date

For the longest time, I have been irrationally afraid of caterpillars. I don't know when it started. I know in first grade I loved them and even kept some gypsy caterpillars as pets. However by the fifth grade I would run from them in terror. The new house is surrounded by woods and naturally we have a lot of the little crawlies around. A lot of them seem to be butterfly breeds and are quite beautiful. I thought that my fear had dissipated as mysteriously as it had come on until a 8 inch long super hairy caterpillar undulated its way across my windshield while I was stopped at a light. The fear came rushing back instantly. Hopefully it has graduated to a terror only of abnormally large tufted caterpillars. Yet in the mean time I'm back to living in dread that one of those creepy truncated many legged natural monsters is lurking somewhere nearby me...
